DAIDOMON Japanese BBQ Restaurant
United Square
recently a new restaurant open near my place
the design is nice, so as the picture of those food displayed...
so yiyi say.. i want to try, must try, must be very good
ok lar.. since she throw tantrum few days already, bring her eat this daidomon
AND to my dismay, FREE i'll also never bother to go there anymore
we order SET MENU for 2 ($65) exclude 10% + 7% etc charges
if you've been to CRYSTAL JADE KOREAN BBQ Restaurant at Takashimaya & compare it with this DAIDOMON JAPANESE BBQ Restaurant..
it is like comparing mosquitoes with a buffalo
why we gave such a rating?
we reach there around 7.15pm
only 2 waitress around but busy doing their own thing.. take our order but guess what?
the food never come.. even repeatedly requesting the waitresses there.
waited for an hour.. interesting?
so?
i walk straight to the counter & tell them off : "i need to cancel order NOW, i won't bother whether the food is already done or not..."
they apologize profusely, mentioning that the kitchen is very busy and our order is already in the queue..
can't they serve some appetizer, etc.. first?
15 mins later, the food came.. my goodness
a few slice of this & a few slice of that... kitchen very busy?
unless their kitchen is severely lack of manpower, else..
a few slice of this & that, less than 20 mins done...
so i'm asking for my desert & bill together... and guess what?
i've call thrice for the waitress.. another 35 mins waiting time before the desert & bill came
after this DAIDOMON meal, i can basically consume a set of McDonald meal

@ rodent invasion @
diagonally opposite the factory that i'm working now (TUAS) is a piece of greenery, nothing else. lately 3M take over & in the process of building a huge factory there...
meaning lots of foundation piling, drilling, etc.. and how it affect us?
factory nearby us like epson, aalst chocholate, etc.. being invaded heavily by the stupid rodent, the stupid idiotic RAT.
terrible?
nope.. as predicted & well known documented in most of the 'feng-shui' book since 2007.
the year of 2008 (the rat year) will bring disaster & plague
(see the casualty lately on china, burma, etc.. ) and now my workplace is being invaded heavily by RAT too.
we now engage an intensive care from PESTMAN, but still more & more rats coming!
last time it bite my chocolate, now even to my door access system wiring, phone line, empy carton, dustbin, plastic.. and i guess :

fitness & financial planning
argh... am looking for a suitable fitness club to join, also so difficult.
s'pore consider v small but as i work in tuas, that's my issue & i'm not driving.. another issue.
after work, reach amk/novena already 7pm+ & already damn sleepy & tired
so how?
got 1 option, joining california fitness club :
- near my place
- affordable
- endorsed by jacky chan too
BUT, but.. many of my buddy don't like it
many gays lurking around & their trainer keep pestering you to sign those packages offered.. hence many of my buddies choose alternative.
while checking the california fitness, i bump into a friend, have a short chat
she now clamoring the 'financial know-how' stuffs.
i guess she read those books by robert kiyosaki on 'rich dad, poor dad, cashflow, etc... and somehow too engrossed into it.
scary?
nope actually.. it does happen to those MLM, Pyramid Selling, etc..
kinda like insurance agent which they're now upgrading themselves, call 'financial planner'.
just imagine the usual conversation & questions asked :
- how old are you?
- when you want to retired?
- do u wish to keep yr current lifestyle when u retired?
- how much u think u need to spend monthly when u retired?
and then they'll help you calculate here, calculate there, etc... AND surprisingly, no matter how many policies you've bought, etc.. u still lack of many
argh... can't be bothered
who knows what i want in life?
actually just a simple life will do... i guess my ideal would be in australia (so far), get a piece of land rearing tons of sheeps & horses
of course get a few workers
i happy, go & help, not happy..
wake-up enjoy the morning ray sipping coffee & read paper
relaxing environment, close to nature, etc...
