man from Mars, women from Venus

some say man are from mars while women from venus, how many do ya' agree?
it originated from a book offering many suggestions for improving husband-wife relationship by understanding the communication style and emotional needs of the opposite gender.

frankly speaking.. to me.. whether u're from mars, earth, juniper, sun, etc... or whether both man, both women, conflicts & differences still exists.
not agreed?
then prove me wrong : why exist so much rivalries between siblings, brotherhoods, father-&-son, mother-&-daughter, office politics, etc...?

to live in harmony, you need mutual understanding, mutual respect & compromises between each other.
remember : you need both hands to clap.

every1 wanted to be loved, to be cared...
somehow... who really understand me, respect & care for me?

wEaLtHY versus pOoR

wealthy versus the poor
who can tell me how much you have, then consider rich or how poor you are.. consider as a poor fella?

to some ppl.. their monthly wages just enough for basic necessities, despite skimp like shit to meet month-ends.
a meal to them is just a meal, to fill hunger.. nothing else

contrastly, to certain individual... the amount of money they had in the bank are just a figure by itself, too much to calculate
can u guys see the huge differences between these 2 group of peoples?

robin-hood - famous for rob the rich, give it to the poor
s'pore mm lee once told the audience that the gap between the riches & the poor will be widen & widen, that's a fact.
why should we penalized them when they're much hardworking than the rest?

over the last weekend, i'm at orchard shopping & dining
1 young lady (should be in her late 20's) happens to walk beside me for a while, should be shopping around too.
reasonably attractive (can see she's from high-society) & easily noticeable with her LV tote bag & Gucci belt with a Rolex watch.
wearing low cut pants with a red CK undergarment (the flashy Calvin Klien type underwear).
imagine how much she's worth?
SGD10k?

huh.. i consider my few hundred bucks SEIKO watch already very expensive
so you guys see the differences?
rolex is out of reach for me
a simple rolex cost around SGD6k after 15% discount, how many can afford?

Rest In Peace - 3rd Uncle

i still remember when i'm young, among my (many) uncles.. only my 3rd uncle came & visit us always.
he's the closest to my dad.. probably my dad is the youngest, & they're quite close when they're young, buddy time...

when he's with us, he told my mum :
you're very good, can prepare lunch easily in such a short period. my wife start preparing lunch since early morning, till 1-2pm, still no lunch.

he always came alone during his visit.
or when 'qing-ming', he'll visit my dad and pray for their parents together..
a simple quiet man, working as a cobbler (shoemaker) for his life and too shy till can't get a girlfriend.
his current wife (3rd aunt) is via match-making by friends & have a child, same age as me.. or probably 1 year older than me.

he's already into his 70's and still working for a living, not able to retire
he's a smoker and with liver cancer, he admitted to the government hospital
my parents does visit them regularly

my mum told me :
that woman got money, why put yr 3rd uncle in a government hospital?
govn hospital, u need to take queue.. queue till when?
if she dun have money, she can afford to buy a house?
(they rent a house for years)
buy house (with her son) and don't even let your 3rd uncle know about it, but then.. after bought, complain the house too far away, transportation not convenient.. serve them right.
so sell it away.. & look for another one.

something very wrong with their relationship?

my dad in HK/Macau when my 3rd uncle pass away
so my mum take over and go over to help, with other relatives as well
to their surprise..
human being can be sooooo cold blooded
my 3rd aunt keep pestering them for money, to pay for the funeral, etc... the collection of 'bai-gin' already have RM6k++

when they pass about RM1.2k++ to my 3rd aunt, she refuse to take
she told them, the funeral cost about RM3k++ and can you all come out with that figure?
they try to fork out as much.. to help, giving face to my 3rd uncle
my mum only have around RM500 & minus transportation (about RM50), she give everything to her.. and yet, my 3rd aunt still haunting them for more money.

when the funeral is over, she block them from leaving & demand them to settle the funeral cost if possible.. my mum & other relative really piss-off with her
if not for 3rd uncle...
normally after the death ritual (Chinese ancestor praying), we'll bring back the tablet & put in our house.. but my 3rd aunt just burnt it immediately over there
all my 3rd uncle belonging also throw away

my dad so sad when he hear upon this
if my 3rd uncle knew about it, will he rest-in-peace?
even you have tons of money.. if you don't use it.. u're only a caretaker of those money
u born with nothing, u'll go with nothing too...

yr husband, no one force you to choose
since u already accept.. then stick to the r/s & work for better life
only know how to complain is useless
before you complain, ask yrself : what have you contribute to the family?
if u complain he earn too little compare to others.. then ask yrself : how much you earn, and how much can you contribute?

haiz... life is not sucks
life sucks because you bring upon to it yourself.. no one own you a living
life can be so cold & bloodless, wtf...

3rd uncle

this week doesn't seems good, somehow...
my sister convocation in HK for the coming week, hampered by the recent outbreak of serious flu stains in HK
my dad is attending my sis's convo as my mum can't take a week leave from her work place, together with my sis's friend.

guess this will be my dad's 1st experience going places, which need to wear a mask & take super-duper good care of his health

then so coincidentally, we've been hit by another bad news.
my 3rd uncle pass away after months battling liver cancer (i suppose) in a local government hospital.. came at a wrong time, i suppose
as my dad is flying to HK, who will help my 3rd aunty?
my mum not close to them, don't even know how to drive... jialat liao lar

we're quite close with my 3rd uncle actually
he's the only one who visit us often, others.. occasionally (once in a blue moon)
he's a smoker, so his liver cancer....
my parents visit them weekly & give them some pocket money to buy some nutritious stuff to eat, somehow he's getting thinner & thinner

his wife.. also dunno what happen (according to my mum)
keep the money, dun bother to send my 3rd uncle to private hospital.. rather wanna wait at public hospital.. and forever wait, wait.. and wait...
always say no money.. but got money to buy a new house
somehow.. the new house too far from city, then end-up sell it at a lost.. and get another one again.

so this morning my sis msn me that my 3rd uncle pass away in the hospital liao

Politic POWER

m'sia latest election 2008 saw opposition take over 5 states
but as i mention, these opposition coalition - can they work together is another issue.

Perak - DAP, PKR & PAS
when our current PM tell every1 that we should improve, progress, etc.. somehow, we still stick to old rules like Sultan, etc...
sultan is the ruler of the state, what contribution does Sultan do over the years in those state? govn is trying to create an internal power struggle on opposition camp
they bring in a PAS member to be chief minister, how qualify is he?
in what terms?

HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS ARE SINCERE/PATRIOTIC TOWARDS MALAYSIA?
HOW MANY OF YOU GUYS WANT MALAYSIA TO BE IMPROVE, PROGRESSIVE?
ANSWER - NONE!

only think of yrself & benefits
so disappointed!

where our money goes?
one m'sian come out of his car, kiss the mansion fence & declare :
i kiss it because this mansion is built with my money, my dad's money, my country-men money, rakyat money...

His istana has 21 bathrooms and 16 bedrooms, including 11 that are occupied by each of his children. It also has a VIP room, three living rooms, a dining hall and a prayer room. In addition to all these, Zakaria's istana also has a swimming pool, several gazebos, an orchard, a two-hole golf lawn, an office, a storeroom, two rooms for maids as well as a wet kitchen and a dry kitchen.Zakaria was dropped from the Umno Selangor line-up for the general election but was replaced by his daughter-in-law Roselinda Abdul Jamil. She however failed to retain the seat.

Malaysia Election 2008

Political Tsunami - as describe by Datuk Lim KS?
Absolutely correct.

BN still hold 63% of Parliment, still a very strong mandate (by malaysian) to rules the country but to what extend?
BN still take full control of the 8 state out of 13, however.. how many of those are as important as the important 5 states that lose out to Opposition colliation?
(Penang, Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Kelantan & WP)

Soul Searching?
Malaysians are smart, IT savvy... we can get anything we want with some clicks of our mouse.
We also connected worldwide.
Leaders should bring themselves closer & get connected to the ground people, not just sit high-up & listen to gossip, or stuff that favoring themselves or their parties.
If you can't go with the flow, the backslash is devastating..

Why many BN big-shot lose to those nyamuk or lalat?
They like many of the BN candidate very much, but somehow.. they don't like the party they're in, hence.. what can they do?
They rather vote for any of the opposition parties...

Message is very clear to BN, to the current government from all races.. we're really not happy of what u guys done over the years.
So buck-up and do some soul searching...

Opposition - you may win with pride & big BUT how fare you guys managing the newly acquired states, is another thing.
Time will tell & do not disappoint US.
Make us proud if you able to do what you PREACH.

US going to recession mode anytime, hence over the years.. do you expect any good growth even you win big?
How you manage & performed over the coming years... only time will tell
