bye2 makati city, am back...

yawn... kinda late & tired to blog today, just reach Sin this evening ard 7pm++ due to a slight flight delay and massive jammed at express way - maybe raining lar or just TGIF?

while wake-up early morning & had breakfast with my boss before start work, this ah george (my boss) try to scare me out and say his room (hotel renaissance) is haunted thru the night... haunted, huh, haunted lei?

Klk - haunted (express in disbelief), tt stuff xxx you, u sure or not?
George - sure, very 'sui' lei
Klk - how haunted, how 'sui'?
George - the table n room light, always blinking here n there, the controller timing always change, mislead me & i always see e wrong timing
Klk - u dream issit?
George - no lar, then when i flush the toilet, the water keep flowing non-stop lei
George - this morning while brushing my teeth, my toothbrush also drop into the toilet bowl, damn sui lar, no good
Klk - oh, then next time dun stay at this hotel lar... i basically dun like, the room light v dim and last night i heard some noise outside.
George - what noise, some1 call you?
Klk - i peep thru the hole, saw a boy keep banging e front door of my opposite room & calling some1, like her mom or something. the boy keep calling and more than 10 mins but i heck care as i blast my TV watching ESPN (recorded match which ManU hammered West Ham)

next time must bring some amulet... "tiak" at the front door

after a hard day (actually half day nia) work, we rush back to hotel n check-out, rush to airport to catch our 2pm flight & there's something new for me also. once reach the airport, we queue up for e 1st level of security check (basically check yr passport n flight ticket, if u dun have either 1, u're out), proceed to 2nd level for airport tax (got passport n ticket, granted the airport tax - they call it passenger service charge P550), loitering at the lounge a while, then 3rd level security check (haha.. take out our belt n shoe too!) gg thru metal detector & x-ray machine, then 4th level security check for daytime molest & finally 5th round (just checking the passport n flight ticket) before boarding the flight.. u say lei, flight delay 15 or 30 mins in this kinda situation, argh... small matter lar.
but i miss the courtesy n respect from the philipinos (like u employ a lots of maid there lor) because they'll greet u "gd morning sir, thank you sir"

once back, as usual lor... and got sms from this balong2, say go celebrate with ah-poo tonight, wasei - maybe i'm not in office, every1 happy lei but i'm such a nice guy, where got offend ppl? one of my friend is in town & they'll go for dimsum brunch tomorz but damn, i got courses tomorz morning, haiz...

hmm... e stock market nowadays seems in good mood, especially in semicon industry, an upswing? but how long? i bought a few lots of Chartered and STATSChP at $1.50 and $1.43 respectively. tt time it drop till $0.95, cries also no tears man!

crazy... so long as i get back my capital, wasei.. must pray2 already lor, cannot be greedy liao.
ppl make millions in stock market before 21 yrs old, damn.. i try to make a few plates of char keow teow & sugarcane drinks also sooooo difficult, kns! u say lar, where got fair? like my Informatics, already throw the $$$ into the 'longkang' lor. put inside bank still can earn 0.25% of interest lei.. i guess got time must make a call to warren buffet and ask him to spare me a few million bucks lar, enough... when u go away, u bring nothing also.

oh.. late liao and i still lazy to unpack lei, better sleep now... tomorz course at 9am, tt's early lor and that stupid ulu place, dunno where it is too, haiz.

phil office - work, work n work

wake-up early for breakfast, and start work before 9am as usual, no diff wherever there's work, so super sianz.
see.. ato phil and i'm hard at work in the conference room, no pray2 lei

oh.. something to mention on a form of public transport that is unique to the Phillipines. You can find these jalopies all over the islands. A throwback to the hundreds of jeeps left behind by the Americans after WW II. and my colleagues told me, this is call jeepney that ply their loops in makati city.

thailand got their own 'tut-tut' car which is smaller but the jeepney is more interesting, more classic n unique in their own way.

after a day of hard work, we left office (with ah george lor) and as usual, go thru tons of security check here n there before we drop our stuffs back to hotel, and shopping trip again.
u know the HK tourism advertisement - 'mai dong shi, chi dong shi'? there we are, but haiz... follow boss, walk supermarket, buy dried mangos, etc... uh!
this is where my office xiaomei ah-tear call n complain that she's still hard at work lor, still OT? ppl already closing for month end, u still busy do what har?
she still complain she dun wanna the award winning dried mango.. i know lar, i got bought other food for you lar... haiz, headache me

makati shopping centre is more consumer oriented, so interesting. they got sales every weekend and super sales on month-end, such a good strategy to tempt ppl to spend, solid lei. but as usual, going shopping, movie, money changer, even some fast food restaurant, etc.. very troublesome to the ppl here, traffic jam - due to? security check!
the security check-point manning by few security officers, gal n guys have diff row & as usual, what the fxxx i care, just blast thru which ever row is empty.. then my sixxxxxxx boss will shout at me - ah kok, guys on the right! do i care?

interestingly, it is a direct competitor of mcdonald lei and quite famous too in makati city, but usually we're having all our meal at restaurant, so?
afternoon we had lunch @ jap restaurant while at night, we had a varieties of chinese food at this Mongkok noodle & dimsum restaurant, near our Renaissance hotel.

u know, after dinner is just ard 8.30pm and guess what ah george say.. let's have a movie lei, still early? walau.. i tot of gg back hotel rest early n gossip/blog, but bo-pian lar, watch then watch lor, ice age2 is kinda late and the ultimate choice is Ultraviolet, hehehe... look at the poster only, know this is a good & powerful movie lar, right?

if not of milla jovovich (the same gal in resident evil), with the power suit and body (basically same as resident evil), u think got ppl watch meh?
this milla jovovich is so powerful, fast and lethal.. even keanu reeve (the special one, matrix) also no 'horse run', straight K.O.
e fighting scene is superb, even my boss also laugh and after e movie, we both shaking our head in - disappointment or unacceptable?
anyway.. a ticket is just P160, ard SGD5 only, while those story book like da vinci (paper back) only cost around SGD10-SGD11 (max), so how to complain? those security guard at the front door also cum a reception/PR, with greeting and smiles 'good day sir, thank you sir' while attending the door for you.

makati city 1st day
hmm.. SQ around 3.5 hrs, journey to hotel is less than an hour, peaceful and normal as usual but this is e 1st time i go makati city
go with my boss, how to blog?
lucky separate room, different floor too... wakakaka

e 1st thing to impress me is the security here, one word to describe - SIAO!
just imagine go into the hotel, shopping mall, open area, etc... e security checkpoint is indeed superb, especially hotel - complete with scanning machine, 2 guards, open up everything u carry (even ladies small handbag) and go thru the metal detection device.
huh.. scare of bomb or abu sayaf?

argh... i got a new name for ah lam (shall we call him ah george?). u know who's the HK singer, george lam?
in cantonese we pronounce 'ah lamb', and his english name is george mah.. so george lar, no one knows.. unless those who betray me after read my blog lor.

once we reach e hotel, we drop our bag n this george is solid, bring me to hypermart n guess what? scour for '7D Dried Mangoes" with the label 'Export Quality' and win the international europe award for quality (under paris), buy 10 over packets, all for his siblings n relatives.
of course i also buy a few packet and some other stuff lar, if not.. empty hand back to SG, i'll being butchered alive by ah-tear n balonglong lor.
aiyaa.. they treat me nice, bo-pian lei, must take care of them also & while this ah george looking for books n CDs, i look thru the magazine section n brought the 'Cos' magazine for ah-tear n balonglong. haiz.. i always steal their 8 days, must return favor, dun wanna get retribution lei

i can say some of the stuff here is indeed cheap, the rate is SGD1 = around Peso31. a smash-hit CD only cost around P459, around SGD15, smash hit lei
those books, that ah george claims that whenever he came here, he'll get lots of it... ard SGD12 and my cosmo mag cos around P125 only lei

after that, go for dinner n guess what, damn.. chinese food, jade restaurant
that stupid beef is nice but they flavoured with alcohol, wasei.. they didn't know i allergic to alcohol lor, damn.. a bit blur2 man, kns
after a tired day, take a good rest and a good shower (bathtub).. so shiok, almost wanna sleep inside the bathtub, so comfortable man... BUT damn small, shit! and the design sucks too, bathtub on the right, shower on the left, so?
damn stupid lor.. & the bathtub also damn shallow n the length is so pathetic. i so skinny already complain, how about that fxx george, sit inside the tub.. walau, all the water come out, like dry shower lor

tomorz is a busy day for me lor, need to do a lot of stuff at office n maintenance, sianz lar
these few days no gardenia bread for breakfast, and guess what.. while i'm rushing out fr office this afternoon to catch e flight, that xxxxxxx look at me with a sweet smile say 'bye bye', huh.
so... ah tear n ba-long2, see it?
beside u 2 miss me, still got others lar, wakakaka
ba-long2, while i'm away.. u help ask fa-lanshi to take care of my marigold milk lei, dun let it freeze too long at the IT room freezer, later spoilt, cannot drink anymore lei.
i very busy lei here, out of office but that andelu still bombard me emails as he like, damnit, indeed a controller, need to control everything
i guess nemo at axxxxxx m'sia also poor thing lar, always kena butchered alive by the 'andelu sai dou yu'

damn, so late already, i need to sleep liao lor.. but i'll secured all my door, etc.. to prevent brokeback mountain!

haiz.. tdy go makati city also need to come back to office, damn tiring. since it is just a short trip, i just pack v little n stuff everything into my backpack
if riot there, also can run faster lar, right?

hmm.. dunno whether got any happening there or not but go with bosses, tough lei unless sneak out fr the hotel after dinner
e problem is ... dunno the place, anyhow go havoc, later kena butchered alive man!

today started trading again.. and my 4 lots of stock consolidate into 1 lot, damn... super jialat man, rugi big2 time

ah.. i'll not be able to 'jiak' gardenia again after today, miss my gardenia raisin bread very much in a few days time, dunno e raisin miss me or not lei?

hmm.. fr my previous post on my sad lunch story, i went on to have a good great lunch with my ex-auditor
we're having korean food at one of the restaurant at cbd area, cozy and quiet, yummy n tasty.. n cheers....

msn me last night say wanna celebrate, so buy mcdonald for breakfasst.. why, because our ah laaaam n myself go for a short business trip.
haiz.. now i know i really not fancy at xxxxxxh, so sad n disappointed

this trip, also sianz arhg.. too short n rush, i also dunno what i pack lar

i spend e whole morning today at our HQ with IS team, doing some validation and security compliance at CBD area.
eh... prior to this meeting, I suddenly remember that my ex also work there, same building but different floor/storey.

common.. why not ask her out for a simple lunch since i'm there, right? hence i text her a simple sms to tease her 'eh, tomorz i got a meeting at yr place, care to meet-up for lunch, yr treat?' AND guess what, i got no reply!
so when i reach there this morning, i call her and ask her 'u didn't got my message?"

WL - got, i forgot to reply lei
KlK - oh, so u free for lunch later?
KlK - issit u saw my message, asking u to buy me a meal, u didn't reply?
WL - har, why must i buy you lunch?
KlK - i so far away come out to town, buy me lunch no problem right?
WL - no lar, where got such thing, where got gals treat guys meal one?

AND guess what, half an hour later a sms came through
Sorry today cant meet u lunch. As got to accompany my colleague to buy something.
hopefully she really got something to buy n need to accompany her colleague, else.. i'll be very disappointed.
work in CBD area, u can buy anytime, any hours... and i really sad, real sad. sad not because she didn't buy me lunch or didn't accompany me, sad because a simple lunch invitation can see through a person, how important money to them.

how much a meal can cost you? restaurant, 2 fellas, how much?
50 or 60 bucks?
u can buy me mcdonalds, max 12 bucks or even simple kopitiam, with drinks less than 4 bucks.. so? haiz... issit ppl nowadays treat $ more important than friendships?
or those stupid mindsets that instill onto ppls that those earn more must treats those who earn lesser? if u earn lesser, u can buy a simple lunch, i'll appreciate lor...

S'pore MM Lee once believe in this but when he become wiser, he tell the world that this is not working now, the income gap between the poor and rich will getting bigger n bigger.

my HQ IS team is nice, good view, nice location, high floor, spacious... compare to xxxxxxh, haiz... very kek-shim lei

hopefully this gd friend of mine 'roxy' can help up a bit on this & get a perfect free website on those various current hits.

ah har.. while browsing some website, encounter this typical range of branded 'bread' lei, so tasty with so many varieties.
this roxy n balonglong correct lar, shelf-life is short but yummy lei when eat with nutella, skimpy or garlic spread, right roxy n balonglong?

monday sucks as usual, cos' got lots of minor shits to clear, etc... and need to prepare for our security validation with HQ people tomorz, dammit.

wed to friday kena go makati city (philippines) for a short trip, and can u imagine that? every1 is demanding that 'ayoyo' to step down, hopefully can come back safely man!
