mini project meaning 'pao-ka-liao' and didn't help much on career enhancement or appraisal, because is mini project, as said...
company getting a huge project, which is quite important till got frequent meeting, discussion, preparation.. & even boss punya boss pun flying down to s'pore to participare
to us - more n more work lor, what else
then those controller meeting is in May 2008, somehow.. i also need to prepare tons of adhoc reports for them, for their presentation
argh... tired, tired n tired

end-up, can't help me much.. while i still need to take & cover for them
all these works, will it translated to more bonuses?
i don't think so...

sICk & dEpReSSed
my strep throat yet recovered
last week at cck raffles medical, yesterday at bugis raffles hospital...
i got allergic to 2 groups of antibiotic, namely :
- amoxycillin &
- clarithromycin
just mild rashes around my hand, no big deal actually but 1 doctor i've seen long ago insists that i should know what type of antibiotic that i allergic to.
so for my strep throat, as the best antibiotic for strep throat is within these 2 group, doc can't prescribe me any within these 2 groups.
that's the problem man!
the doc gimme another group which is not so effective.. this answer to my question, why after a week, still don't have much improvement
my throat inflammation also cause pain to my head & neck, suffering leh...

how serious is depression?
world economy depressed, stock market go down... many commit suicide, serious or not?
lately i saw a hk tvb documentary on leslie cheung, commemorate his death anniversary on 1st April 2003 title : 我,张国荣.
most featured friends of leslie (哥哥) already pass-away, scary?
or shall i say i already old?
my generation of idols revolve around upbringing :
- 1st generation : cantopop (leslie, anita, alan tam, danny chan, sam hui, roman, jenny, etc..)
- 2nd generation : 四大天王 (andy, leon, aaron & jacky), sally yip, etc...
- 3rd generation onwards : mp3 era & i only listen to nice quality songs
superstar, superman, etc.. still a human after-all
many succumbed to sickness & depression, so sad.
哥哥 suicidal note :
Depression! 多謝各位朋友,多謝麥列菲菲教授,這一年很辛苦,不能再忍受, 多謝唐先生,多謝家人,多謝肥姐. 我一生沒做壞事 為何這樣?
this is where good friends, siblings & family play a pivotal rules in our life
哥哥 also from a broken family
my buddy's friend (a guy) also commit suicide (last year) at his work place, due to work pressure (which circulated around)
he got a wife & a young children too
rationally speaking, if you have a warmth & comfortable/understanding family, will u choose this path?
the answer is a definite no-no to me!
unless you've pressure from both side.. and the only way out, is to commit suicide.. sad ending somehow...
isn't life harsh?

Law of the Seed
Take a look at an apple tree.
There might be five hundred apples on the tree and each apple has ten seeds.
That's a lot of seeds!
We might ask, "Why would you need so many seeds to grow just a few
more apple trees?"
Nature has something to teach us here.
It's telling us:
“Not all seeds grow. In life, most seeds never grow”.
So if you really want to make something happen, you had better try more than once."
This might mean:
You'll attend twenty interviews to get one job.
You'll interview forty people to find one good employee.
And you might meet a hundred acquaintances just to find one special friend.
When we understand the "Law of the Seed", we don't get so disappointed.
We stop feeling like victims.
We learn how to deal with things that happen to us.
Laws of nature are not things to take personally.
We just need to understand them - and work with them.
IN A NUTSHELL
Successful people fail more often. But they plant more seeds.
When things are beyond your control, here's something that you must
NOT DO so as to avoid misery in your life:
- You must not decide how you think the world SHOULD be.
- You must not make rules for how everyone SHOULD behave.
- Then, when the world doesn't obey your rules, you get angry!
- That's what miserable people do!
On the other hand, let's say you expect that:
-Friends SHOULD return favours.
-People SHOULD appreciate you.
-Planes SHOULD arrive on time.
-Everyone SHOULD be honest.
- Your husband or best friend SHOULD remember your birthday.
These expectations may sound reasonable. But often, these things won't
happen!
So you end up frustrated and disappointed.
There's a better strategy:
Demand less, and instead, have preferences!
For things that are beyond your control, tell yourself:
"I would prefer this, but if that happens, it’s OK too!"
This is really a change in mindset. It is a shift in attitude, and it gives you more peace of mind ...
You prefer that people are polite ... but when they are rude, it doesn't ruin your day. You prefer sunshine ... but if it rains, it is ok too!
To become happier, we either need to:
a) Change the world, or
b) Change our thinking.
It is easier to change our Thinking!
IN A NUTSHELL
It is not the problem that is the issue, but rather it is your attitude attending to the problem that is the problem.
It's not what happens to you that determines your happiness.
It's how you think about what happens to you!

Strep throat usually requires a trip to the doctor and a dose of antibiotics. But with the proper medical care - along with plenty of rest and fluids - you should be back on your feet in no time. Strep Throat
what the heck is strep throat?
kinda another stupid outbreak again in SG/MY... 他妈的!
strep throat = severe sore throat
strep throat <> sore throat
Strep throat is a contagious disease (meaning that you catch it from another person). It is caused by infection with group A streptococci (pronounced: strep-toe-kok-sigh) bacteria.
The symptoms of strep throat include fever and stomach pain, along with red and swollen tonsils.
