bAlIk kAmpUng...
deepavali + hari raya puasa = deeparaya
my initial plan is to go vietnam for a short tour with my colleagues but somehow, fully booked... and even we postpone our trip towards end of Dec 2006, still fully booked!
damn.. what the world is this man, crazy!
so nothing to do.. and our company production plant also shut down, everyone is clearing leave at these period, haiz... go back to my hometown with my younger brother for a walk lor.
friday night, all coach fully booked..
haha..
u think i'll pay high price for the stupid coach back to Ipoh?
take additional day off on friday, back on thursday night... so many empty seat!
nothing much special there, everywhere is packed with people, traffic sucks.. go Ipoh shopping mall for my badminton racket, jammed like hell.. keep looking for empty car park lot, keep turning n turning, tired man
so my activities there are simple and relaxing :
- eat
- sleep
- astro
the food there is super nice, tasty and wonderful
i like all those curry noodles, curry chee cheong fun, etc... and i always request my mom to cook for me, the basic requirements :
- steam fish (any type)
- vegetables (garlic or oyster sauce)
- soup
somehow, she include a varieties of other heavy duty tonic like chicken essence, bird nest, cordyceps, etc... and our small fridge is loaded with fruits.
argh.. chicken essence, the art of making the chicken essence is fantastic, just too bad i forgot to take some photo.
steps of making chicken essence
- get a live kampung chicken from wet market (they can even kill n clear everything for you)
- take out the bone
- mince the chicken meat
- put in a special container n boiled it few hours with charcoal burner
with the correct way of putting the container right, the essence will collected at the bottom of the main bowl while the meat will dry out
1 kampung chicken, only have a quarter cup of essence... rather expensive and tedious job
oh.. my doggy die a few months ago, then my dad's friend pass him 2 small puppies
dun ask me what type of dog.. maybe those from stray dog but i like them very much.. they're just cute n adorable
running and chasing around.. so interesting
blackie - agreesive, greedy and lively
this spottie.. haiz.. totally different from the blackie.
he's weak, didn't eat much and sick at the time when i'm back. he still on medication, hope he'll grow-up well when i'm not around
we also go this place call 'kampung tualang' for live fresh prawn
that place is famous for seafood especially prawn.. just half an hour drive fr my place...
