pre-weekend adventure
~TGIF~
friday evening... meet-up with my childhood buddies, after a lenghty discussion on email, msn and sms (from dinner at holland village to bt merah, clementi, cck, geylang & geylang serai), at last.. at last... our final destination : opp shaw tower, steamboat!
haiz... guys, sometimes can be super indecisive too
and follow by another lenghty discussion on whether to drive there or not to drive there to skip the ERP n costly parking fees around town
while another newly buddy member kc (back fr china after 4/5 yrs there) still telling us that he'll go home (woodlands) & have a nap before meeting us
damn, dell design centre damn bloody good.. can go home anytime!
steamboat, ok.. is actually just opposite shaw tower, next to NTUC centre
sc already keep cursing as we're late for 1/2 hour and guess what.. once we reach there, that place is already fully occupied.
damn... we should ask sc to get a place for us 1st.
we just go in straight & get a table... and started to eat comfortably while suddenly we realise there's a long queue forming out there!
ops.. we staring at each other n wonder "do we queue?" & "need to queue meh?"
after our dinner, we walk around and el suggest we go walk around the malay streets/heritage area, quite happening there..
kampung glam - kinda malay historic district, still the hub of the muslim communitytoday. it gazetted as a conservation area in 1989, & most buildings here r shophouses, the majority of which have remained intact over the years, retaining with them the rich culture and history of yesteryears...
ok.. so our main destination?
sultry arabian nights at baghdad & pahang street
at least 1/2 dozen arabic cafes along these 2 streets offering middle eastern food n drinks...after heavy steamboat, what can we eat?
el : eh.. i came here before with my colleagues, got those something like a pipe n smoke one, like smoke cigarette
sc : what's that?
kc : cigar?
km : oh.. i think i know, those suck something one lar, right?
el : yep, wanna try or not?
kc : go, go..
sc : eh.. another dark2 place again?
kc : waleu.. still go up 2nd floor, so dark..
sc : later my pair of expensive shoe also gone
el : faster lar u ppl, climb stair also so slow
waitress : have a seat, what flavor u all want?
kc : got flavor, what flavor u had?
waitress : mango, strawberry, apple
el : got mint, i want mint lei
waitress : no mint, only that 3 flavors available, big or small
el : big berapa, small berapa?
waitress : big $18, small $12
kc : el, u try before?
el : no lei.. try 1 big one lor, onz or not?
kc : get us 1 big one, strawberry...
el : look ard, so many malay friends here
kc : haha.. got chinese, neh...
km : eh.. see, the whole group of chio angmoh ladies also joining us
el : wa.. ni cantik, tall and sweet
el : eh.. come, try lei
km : how to smoke? just suck like this, nothing lei?
el : maybe not hot lei, wait a while, check the charcoal got burning or not?
kc : got lar.. we take turn, suck hard man
km : eh.. ppl got so many smoke come out, how come ours got nothing..
sc : no charcoal issit?
km : damn.. i suck till stomach also cramp, still no smoke
el : cannot be lar, u see e angmoh niu, she suck gently only... so many smoke
kc : i think this one spoilt lei, ask them check lar... paiseh lei
... a new one being replace ...
kc : hmmph.. this one, got a bit smoke, time for us to suck harder man
sc : yeah, suck it out
... after a few round ...
km : i give up, my stomach really cramp, no energy to suck already
el : how come they suck till so enjoyable, so many smoke?
kc : u tak tau suck lar
el : what, we try our best, ok
sc : nothing lar.. how to enjoy?
el : yalor.. go buy cigarettes better, confirm got smoke
km : ask for bill lar, i really give up..
sc : 4 idiots.. dunno suck what, lousy fella
kc : who suggest one, damn..
sc : i sit till back also pain, next time drink teh tarik lar
these 2 idiots smoke till so happy.. maybe got a lot of angmoh niu sit next to us
kc suck till stomach cramp, el suck till the smoke go up into his brain.. started to talk rubbish
