what is love?
concept of love - very subjective n debatable.
some deny the existence of love, calling it a recently invented abstraction.
others maintain that love exists but is indefinable...
Love is a condition or phenomenon of emotional primacy, or absolute value. Love can describe an intense feeling of affection, an emotion or an emotional state.
In ordinary use, it usually refers to interpersonal love, an experience usually felt by a person for another person. Love is commonly considered impossible to define.
i'm watching a HK series lately whereby a young gal ask her uncle, who's still single & paying respect to a women.
gg : uncle, who is this women?
JJ : she's someone's wife
gg : so is she yr childhood friend?
JJ : nope, she's once my lover, the only women in my life, in my heart forever
gg : oh.. then how come, u treat her badly or u do something bad towards her?
JJ : yes, i feel sorry and let her down badly
JJ : she's my girlfriend and we love each other. during my gangster time, i've done something wrong and i need to run away, into hiding
JJ : i dun want her to follow me to go thru the hard life and being hunted everywhere but she insists that she'll wait for me
JJ : i didn't bear to hurt her anymore and she'll be much better if she can forget me and get a more worthwhile man than me
JJ : hence, i purposely get a women and let her know that i actually like another women. she feel so hurt and cry her heart out.
JJ : few yrs later when i'm back from hiding, i saw her marrying into a good family and her husband treats her well, i feel so happy for her
gg : i'm so touched, uncle.. u're really a good man
JJ : i know i'm not worth to be with her, why shall i let the women i love go thru the hardship with me?

probably..
because u know that when she's happy, u're happy
because u know that when she's sad, u'll sad
because u know that when she's crying, u do hope that u'll be there for her
because u know that when she's boring and feel empty, u'll fill her life with laughter and joy
because u know that when she's disappointed, u'll do yr best to support her
because u know that when she need something, u do yr best to provide

lately my bud run into problems.
he gotta know a gal
he love her truly
he knows that this gal will be his life partner
he shows her his undying love
he shows her his everything
but the gal still reluctant
somehow she consider a lot, about her current relationship, her current status with her boyfriend, her bf's good and bad, her future, etc...
she told my bud that he treat every gals the same
she didn't feel special
she didn't feel the importance of her being in his heart
she didn't feel the love
she say all the man are the same
why should start a new r/s and go thru all the hardship again n again?
what if she left her current bf and found out that my bud is actually didn't suit her?
huh...
but my bud didn't give-up, ever
single and available, u have the right to choose
to choose someone who's best suit to each other
not to live with someone that you know u keep telling yrself that he actually have good points, keep justifying to herself that he actually treats her well
it is like building a house theory
u need time, effort and money
u build halfway and it didn't plan as accordingly as what you want
everything is different, everything is not as u wish
but u force yrself into believing that the house is actually quite okay
the house is live-able
i'll continue to build the house because it is so tedious and time consuming to destroy the old house and rebuild again
so i'll rather stay at this house
i scare if i rebuild again, still can't get the house i want
my bud very sad upon hearing this
but he didn't give up
he knows her phobia, understand her concerns, understand her pains
he'll build the house with her if given the chance, together
build the house together is much better than let her build the house alone
helping and supporting her all the way
to build a house that both of them can live happily
it is tough but why not?
why not give a chance to my bud?
to let him have a chance, to build the house together... cos building a house together is much easier than just build a house by herself
those labor of love feeling, is just undescribe-able
and my bud told me, probably she didn't feel comfortable with his many friends around him
especially gals
but my bud told me :
i know who are friends and who will be my life partner
i might not give her enough security but i made known to her that i only love her
i truly love her, only think of her and miss her a lot
sometimes word alone can't describe how much i love her.. but my love towards her is true, my undying love towards her are sincere
not those puppy love or those short-term fatal attraction that goes after weeks or days
i truly hope she can feel it
i miss her, miss her badly
but does she knows?
if she knows, does she care?
