General Elections 2006
just look at the title, u can see how serious s'porean are and for the last few weeks.. most of my buddies n colleagues are talking about rally (heard that thousands of ppl purposely join the opposition parties rally), their representative constituency or grc, etc.. while some lament that most of the time they can't vote cos it is a 'walkover', etc...
result are out this morning n as expected lor, fact as per below:
- PAP win 82 of 84 seats
- PAP took 45 of 47 seats contested, 37 are walkover
- SDA's Chiam ST retained Potong Pasir seat while WP Low TK kept his seat in Hougang.
- SDA Steve Chia ????
frankly speaking, this kinda results.. u think still need election meh? 
i agree with some of the ppl out there, they should stop taking the dangling "upgrading" carrot or it'll never stop because we should give opposition a chance to prove themselves.
we're taxpayer afterall, it doesn't matter who win... those winner need to do something to take care of their own constituency or grc.
