World Recession?

haiz... the year of RAT (2008) will be remembered always as a watershed years.
why?
the financial industry & banking turn upside down, everything in a mess
blame who?
peoples greed

so bankers, traders, all the financial specialist, planners, etc.. yr good days of earning 10k over bucks are over
and should be over
all these sickening idiots, who do you blame now?
and who suffer now?

if you're young, u lose 100k.. u still can work & get back those money
my heart goes out for those retiree...
for those who are cold blood & say these ppl deserve what they buy especially those banker, r/s manager, etc...yes, go ahead to argue :
you may argue whatever they deserve for buying unknown product, the risk, etc.. i do hope karma will come and you guys will hit hard & yr wealth evaporated during your old age...

stock market in chao now
my blue chip turns into penny stock, who believe got such a thing happen?
what is happen to Dow Jones, any believer?
today up 900 points, the next 2 days can drop 500+
first in history for decades to come.. really interesting...

GMT Meeting @ SENTOSA

i know.. lately v busy
almost forgot my blog.. or should i change my blog soon?

summarize on recent activities

my team-building events in ko-samui
so to all my rc team member, thank you very much... to all of you
dav, susan, yk, ww (black bear exclusive)
u guys work hard to make the event successful...

shanghai far-east it/is meeting
will update once the photo available (basically tabulated in asian region)
shanghai - how great is shanghai?
or just the outlook only?

lastly, the current on-going country managing director meeting at sentosa
sentosa spa & resort (formerly a beaufort hotel)
nice retreat hotel... which i've been there last year for my hq IT group meeting
station there to take care of the infrastructure, etc.. for an exhausted week

preparation
setup the entire ballroom (2 combines) with all the infrastructure ready (banner inclusive)

sickening luggage bag

i dunno whether kena cheated or what lar
lately go chinatown & buy 1 luggage bag, hard-cover with 4 wheels
the seller say good & cheap

28"
hard cover
4 wheel drive
$80 only (where to find)

haiz... after the flight, 2 wheels also gone

so sickeningly cheap & lousy?

last time i bought a cheapo luggage bag for only $59.90 (3-in-1) and i drag that luggage to japan, manila, etc.. drag & walk a distance, no problem
imagine if u drag half-way the wheel go off... si beh paiseh leh especially when u're in japan or those busy road at manila (most of the time to manila office, i take early2 flight.. & go straight to office)!

so i approach SIA "lost & found" department for compensation
cheapo luggage bag like mine, they offer 2 options :
01 - SIA compensate $70 only (not full)
02 - SIA send for repair
i guess u know what option i take, right?

those of you who got expensive luggage bag (samsonite).. sorry lar, only option 2 available
they'll go to yr house & take yr luggage bag to repair

Manuka HONEY

i bought another bottle of manuka honey for my dad as he already old & age is catching up fast
this is basically to help him by boost-up a bit of his body defense system
but of course come with a hefty price

i've a short chat with my friend lately, about her unfortunate encounter with her direct superior. she work there for 11 years already & now basically face-off
what happen, only her boss know...

as for me, i've a small cute little panda box under my cubicle.
standby 24 hrs in-case i being sack!
i've seen many cases (current workplace) whereby they just basically give u 1 day notice & left immediately
haiz...and you talk about 人情，朋友， also about 真情, is there any?
they just move on without you...

unpredictable
expect the unexpected

as goes with my title of today's blog, expect the unexpected.
how many of you out there value (or appreciate) people around you?
do you take them for granted?
i guess the answer is a definitely a big YES

till now, i still miss my god mom
she left us after the tsunami disaster, so unpredictable & so sudden
after move office (ex-company), my another colleague just suddenly pass away
i'm like, he's gone?
he's always around me for the past 5-6 years, and suddenly he's gone...

now i heard that my ex-cfo also gone
suddenly pass away in her room while holidaying with friends in US
isn't life fragile?

haiz... till now, how many of us value kinship, friendship & appreciating each other?
yep, the answer is still a big NO
when one of us gone, then we felt something is missing
but already too late when we realize it
sad.. pathetic...

lies & white lies
diff opinion between gals & guys

while at samui having company team building event, i've a short chat (or debate?) with my colleagues on the above subject.

our conclusion :
majority gals will tell their bf/hubby what they do, meet-up with who (even those sensitive subject like ex-bf, ex... )
interestingly most guys will support their girlfriend & won't have any issue as she already with you, why we guys want to suspect?

all gals will make a big hoo-haa if they know their boyfriend meet-up with their ex-gf, etc... even they're clean (or even friends).
frankly speaking, we guys till now still don't have any answers for this.

gals hate guys telling lies
BUT we guys also hate people maligned them, especially those who we love dearly or those whom we trust dearly
majority guys hate telling lies, what's the point?
do you gain anything in telling lies?

experiences from buddies, friends & even myself telling me that in real life, theory is theory, practical is really practicals
mountain can be made from a small little mole

if the gals keep suspecting their guys, the trust is no longer there anymore
in order for a relationship (or a basic family) to work, mutual trust & proper communication must be in place
pathetically, how many of us value it (mutual trust & communications)?
end-up, a guy who don't know what is lie keep telling lies... is pretty normal
they call it white lies

i do hope... it won't happen to me
if my r/s need to survive on white lies, i'll give-up for the sake of my other half well being
life short.. so value the good things together
